HENKEL IN INDONESIA
In 1974, Henkel opened an office in Indonesia and begin selling adhesives to customers. Today, Indonesia represents a fast-growth market for the Henkel Group and is a strong pillar of the company’s strategy in the emerging markets. With 500 employees, Henkel Indonesia operates a head office and a Southeast Asia Regional Innovation Center in Bintaro, South Tangerang, and two adhesives’ plants in Tangerang for HFSA (Henkel Footwear & Specialty Adhesives) and Pasuruan for (Henkel Adhesive Technologies).
In the adhesive business we are dedicating to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. We develop, manufacture, and distribute our products in a regulatory compliant and environmentally responsible manner with resources to effectively manage environmental and energy programs. We continually improve our processes and management system by establishing, tracking, and working toward objectives and target to achieve pollution prevention, a reduced burden on the environment, sustainable use of resources, reduction in energy use and costs, and create a culture of environment and energy awareness and conservations.
Henkel Indonesia holds leading market positions in various industries, such as automotive, consumer, furniture, food and beverage, packaging, footwear, and general industries.
