What you'll do

To execute the Engineering & Maintenance activities of Henkel Adhesives manufacturing in Isogo plant, Implementation of a manufacturing engineering(ME) management system, which is appropriate to the purpose of our organization, activities, products and services, as well as the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.

In order to contribute to the productivity of Henkel Japan’s Isogo site, your role will include the following:

  • For new product introduction and MOC (Management of Change) projects, communicate closely with stakeholders (Product Development, Project Managers, Quality Assurance, manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, etc.) and conduct qualification testing, production transfer documentation, and initial production flow follow-up.
  • Ensure machines are operated safely
  • Continuously improve the Isogo plant’s safety, sustainability, quality, and productivity.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools, automation, and digitalization activities will be promoted to establish more efficient processes.
  • Ensure that facilities and equipment continue to operate normally and safely, periodic inspections, repairs, and spare parts management are performed.
  • Prevent breakdowns and maintain manufacturing efficiency, while also managing maintenance costs and capital investment.
  • Your scope of decision making will include Investment, Facility Control, Selection of External Vendors, Initiation, Planning and Leading projects

ヘンケル磯子工場における接着剤製造のエンジニアリング&メンテナンス業務、組織・活動・製品・サービスの目的に合った製造エンジニアリング(ME)マネジメントシステムの導入、製造プロセスの継続的改善。

ヘンケルジャパンの磯子事業所の生産性向上に貢献するため、以下のような役割を担っていただきます:

  • 新製品導入およびMOC(Management of Change)プロジェクトにおいて、関係者(製品開発、プロジェクトマネージャー、品質保証、製造、サプライチェーンマネジメントなど)と密接にコミュニケーションをとり、適格性試験、生産移管文書作成、初期生産フローのフォローアップを実施する。
  • 機械が安全に運転されていることを確認する。
  • 磯子工場の安全性、持続可能性、品質、生産性を継続的に改善する。
  • リーンシックスシグマツールの活用、自動化、デジタル化活動を推進し、より効率的なプロセスを確立する。
  • 施設や設備が正常かつ安全に稼動し続けるよう、定期的な点検、修理、スペアパーツの管理を行う。
  • 故障を防止し、製造効率を維持するとともに、メンテナンスコストと設備投資を管理する。
  • 投資、施設管理、外部ベンダーの選定、プロジェクトの立ち上げ、計画、指導など、意思決定の範囲が含まれる。

What makes you a good fit

  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer
  • Practical knowledge of ISO management systems or related systems, Machinery design, Safety Programs, Corporate
  • Standards and Compliance
  • Solid understanding of English and Fluent level Japanese
  • Automation Engineering experience preferred
  • Knowledge and use of CAD is a plus
  • Experience in improving productivity and profitability preferred
